The main highlight of activities in the month of June was our Instaart initiative we held at Optimal Children’s Home in Magodo. It was all shades of colours and fun, as the kids had the opportunity of expressing their artistic sides. And for the Local Guides in attendance, they were filled with joy for being part of the programme, as they had tasked themselves to bring attention to the orphanage by uploading details and their reviews to Google Maps. You can view THIS previous post on the Optimal Children’s Home outing.
Our partner on the Instaart initiative, Paint The Night Africa, were on hand as always to bring this programme to life and help all involved truly appreciate the process of bringing art to life.
During the month of June, we published a few posts, highlighting different aspects of what we have been up to.
We put out a post to bring attention to our friend’s current health condition, who is in need of our support in raising funds to get the treatment he needs, as he is dealing with kidney failure.

During the month, we had carried out another Instaart event at Optimal Children’s Home, which was a blast, as all the kids that participated had so much fun and are looking forward to another engagement.

We had also published a Sandbox post, which pretty much gives an idea of the projects/initiatives, both ongoing and future, we are currently developing.

And in keeping our readers informed of our activities, without bugging you down with too much information all the time, we have decided that we would be publishing our “The Column” series on a quarterly basis, summarising all activities in the preceding quarter. This will also be in addition to our regular posts on different topical issues we would want to write about. Thus, we do feel you will still know what is going on with us all the time. But if you do feel keeping in touch on a monthly basis is fine, do let us know and we would consider your opinion in serving you better.
See you around.
